Something That You Said

Although they never quite plumed the gritty depths of the Go-Gos, the Bangles have always known their way around a good pop tune and this is no exception. It may have an over produced West coast sheen compared to some of today’s younger bucks, yet Something That You Said is irrepressibly classy, swathed as it is in gorgeous melodies and those trademark harmony vocals. One comeback worth paying attention to, although do we really need another version of bloody ‘Eternal Flame’?
