Taking the concept of the Universally Good Song to the dancefloor, Kosheen mix a contemporary blend of sweet soul and folk melodies. Add to this a backdrop of funk rhythms and urban beats, where electro-pop meets drum ’n’ bass and you’re close to imagining the Kosheen sound. This is the debut album from the Bristol trio, and by all accounts, promises to match the previous successes of local heroes Tricky, Massive Attack and Portishead.
