Change
Drawing on his past, Change also sees Mr. C serve up a succession of club based tracks
After fifteen years involvement with dance music former Shamen rapper and acid house originator Mr. C releases his debut album.
While more recent years have seen C steer the good ship tech-house from decidedly underground waters into the mainstream as well as providing a forum for quality underground music with his End night club and label, he’s also allocated some time to recording this long player.
Drawing on his past, most evident on the stream of consciousness rapping that pops up on ‘Ascension’, Change also sees Mr. C serve up a succession of club based tracks, with house legend Robert Owens adding his spiritual vocals to ‘The Club’ as well as ‘Give It All’ and the self-explanatory ‘Tech-house’ hitting the mark. Let’s hope he never changes…
