Elbow debut at Number 1 on the Irish Charts
The Mancunian alternative rock band knock Ed Sheeran off the album charts this week with their seventh studio album Little Fictions.
The Suffolk-born red head stays close to the top however, with his album X coming in at No. 2, and + staying high at No. 4.
Elsewhere, Irish artists dominate the top 10, with Walking on Cars's Everything This Way at No. 3, Finbar Furey's magnificent Paddy Dear at No. 9, and Gavin James' 2015 offering Bitter Pill at No. 10. Irish-Canadian tenor and actor enters in at eighth spot with his 3CD greatest hits album, The Essential.
