The Sugar Club Announces Music Film Festival
It was take place later this summer.
The Sugar Club has announced it will host the Dublin Music Film Festival. The month long event, dubbed Films Of Note, will take place between July 5 and August 4.
The festival is centred around music on the silver screen and will feature screenings of The Who's Quadrohenia, Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense, Prince's Purple Rain and Woodstock. The full list of movies has yet to be revealed but will include the genres of rock, punk, jazz, R&B, pop and hip hop.
As well as the movies pre and post screening DJ sets will take place in the venue with custom cocktails being served at the after parties.
