Set list changes for The Boss' E Street Band stops The River flowing.
The River album will not be performed in its entirety when Bruce Springsteen plays at Croke Park this month. Springsteen told the audience at a concert in Brooklyn on April 25th that they had just heard the "last official performance of The River from start to finish". The news was confirmed by E Street Band bassist Gary Tallent.
& we all thank you very much. The band is looking forward to coming off a leash as well. This could get interesting https://t.co/AKkQa5n88b

Some fans have expressed disappointment at the decision claiming the promotion companies in various European countries falsely advertised the concerts. One fan took to Twitter to express their frustration at the news and got a reply from E Street guitarist Stevie Van Zandt. Zandt offered to reimburse the fan for the tickets if the promotion company would not
If you feel you've been misled get your money back. If Live Nation lied to you and won't refund your money I will. https://t.co/DbEFDtx5Sj

Tallent also responded to another fan saying that while European audiences may not get The River in its entirety they will get something to make their American counterparts envious.
Have a little faith. The Americans will be whining because they didn't get the show you are going to see. #Breaktime https://t.co/dbE4uLI6Qe

While the whole album won't be heard its a safe bet its title track will be on the set list. Here's 'The River' live in Tempe, Florida in 1980. For more news about Springsteen's Croke Park gig click here.
