The late icon has four albums in the top ten, but it's the pop queen's Lemonade that leads the way
Beyonce has flown straight in at the top of the Irish album charts, as Lemonade tops the rundown in its first week.
While the new LP might have been a surprise release, there's no surprise to see it top the rundown on its first week. Queen Bey takes over from Mike Denver (not a sentence you hear every day), with her LP enough to hold a pair of Prince compilations – The Very Best of and Ultimate – to second and third spots. The late icon's Sign O The Times and Purple Rain are also conspicuous on this week's chart, taking No. 10 and No. 11 respectively.
In between, though, some reliables are still standing strong; Walking On Cars continue their remarkable run by staying in fourth, while Adele's 25 and Justin Bieber's Purpose, just like last week, sit right behind.
