The ace attorney lands in Ireland in September
It's fair to say that many of us spent the early part of this year glued to the Netflix hit Making A Murderer - and more than a fair few left with a soft spot for Steven Avery's attorney, Dean Strang.
The lawyer, who along with Jerry Buting made up something of a dream double-act in the show, has become something of a star in his own right, and the red carpet will be rolled out in September when he pays visits to the Cork Opera House (22) and then heads to the Black Box, Galway (22).
There's no word on who'll be asking the questions - although, following a much maligned RTÉ appearance earlier this year, we wager a certain R. D'Arcy may not get the call.
An adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School, the University of Wisconsin Law School, and University of Wisconsin's Division of Continuing Studies, Strang is also readying a book that should be published in 2018.
Tickets priced €32 in Cork and €35 in Galway go on sale on Thursday March 31.
