After winning four BRIT awards, the record-breaking singer is back at the summit
With her visits to Belfast and Dublin scheduled for next week, it's little surprise that Adele-Mania is starting to kick in.
A week that saw the Tottenham-born singer grab four BRIT awards ends with Walking On Cars finally hauled in by the global record-breaker 25. The Dingle quartet spent three weeks at the summit with their debut album Everything This Way, and continue to outsell the likes of Justin Bieber, who's in third.
Below a trio of young acts, though, the majority of the chart is manned by the old guard. Kenny Rogers' Best Of claims No. 4, followed by collections from Rod Stewart, Andre Rieu, ABBA and The Bee Gees.
Nathan Carter's Beautiful Life charts at No. 9, while Ed Sheeran's x resolutely refuses to drop from the top ten. Rising wunderkind Jack Garratt is the highest new entry of the week, as his Phase opens its account at No. 20.
