Adele hits the top of the Irish charts followed by Justin Bieber as a close second
With over 100 million views already on Youtube, Adele released a new song last week called 'Hello' in preview to her new album, which will be released on November 25. Adele's deep and strong vocals complement the soulful song that describes a possible past relationship with a man from her hometown. The music video elicits chills amongst listeners, which is almost probably why it has reached the top of the Irish music charts this past week.
Also released last week was the dance video to Justin Bieber's song 'Sorry,' which is a possible reason for the single hitting second place in the Irish charts this week. Following closely in third place is Bieber's other popular song, 'What Do You Mean?'
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's song 'Downtown' is still high on the charts from lasts week at number four, while One Direction's 'Perfect' has moved from the top of last week's charts down to the fifth.
Following 'Perfect' remains 'The Hills' by The Weeknd, 'How Deep Is Your Love' by Calvin Harris and Disciples, 'Lay It All On Me' by Rudimental featuring Ed Sheeran, 'Hotline Bling' by Drake, and finally the song of the summer, 'Can't Feel My Face' by the Weeknd.
