Keep Her In A Box
‘Keep Her In A Box’ is two minutes of frantic guitars, punky energy and a nice line in infectious melody
Like Marilyn Manson, Derry quintet Clearshot’s debut single has elements of angst and estrangement, but unlike the American so-called corrupter of youth, Clearshot got over their teenage alienation very quickly :”Sick of being ugly, but hey, it doesn’t matter”.
‘Keep Her In A Box’ is two minutes of frantic guitars, punky energy and a nice line in infectious melody that is reminiscent of those other Northern punk popsters, Cuckoo, and even, whisper it, The Undertones.
