Have lunch with Glen Hansard

Nominated for Hot Press Awards in several categories (but controversially not scooping any gongs this time around), Glen Hansard and The Frames press on regardless with a live date at Dublin Castle on May 6th as part of the Heineken Green Energy, before moving on to the Cork leg of the festival at the Munster Showgrounds on May 31st.

Mr. Hansard will also be gracing the national airwaves as a DJ on Today FM from the 8-11th May, filling in for the honey-mooning Donal Dineen on his Here Comes The Night show from 9pm - 1 am on 100/102FM.

Here, Glen gives us a special acoustic performance of 'What Happens When The Heart Just Stops,' from For The Birds - and if you listen closely (or not closely at all, for that matter) you will hear unsolicited extra percussion in the form of coffee cups and cutlery noises as folks slurp tea and scrape up their egg-and-chips... mmm, yum!
