With Florence + The Machine, Manic Street Preachers and more all featuring, meet the heavy-hitters who are bound for Stradbally this year.
An Electric Picnic extravaganza this issue as we mark the announcement of the early line-up for the biggest boutique festival around with some wide-ranging interviews with the principal players.
Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine shares her Picnic memories, James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers talks about his party animal past and staying strong creatively and Belle And Sebastian also find time for a chinwag. We also select the top five up-and-coming acts performing at the festival.
The massive interviews keep coming as we meet Marina & The Diamonds, Modest Mouse, Duke Special, Hail The Ghost, Hoodie Allen, Shane Lowry and more. Turning to film, Laois lad done good Robert Sheehan opens up about moving to LA in the Hot Press Interview.
We also remember the late, great Tony Fenton.
Elsewhere, our team of critics run the rule over new albums from Villagers, James Bay, Modest Mouse and more and report on gigs from the likes of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Royal Blood.
As ever that's the mere tip of the iceberg. It hits shelves tomorrow (Thursday March 19).
