The return of Blur, Kanye/Beck mash-ups and much, much more...
There's no rugby this weekend, so we can all let our pulses get back to normal whilst at the same time contemplating the magnitude of next weekend's Ireland v England encounter, which promises to be nothing if not bruising.
With Free Music Friday of the 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' persuasion you may find us needing to go into hiding for a few days to avoid Anglo-Irish unpleasantness.
That is then, right now we have another even more exciting than the Six Nations collection of downloads, streams, vids and trailers to wow you with.
Lots of people have been having post-Grammy mash-up fun this week.
Leading the way is DJ-Windows 98, AKA Arcade Fire's Win Butler whose 'Jesus Walks, Loser' has unsurprisingly gone viral.
Just as nifty is 'Loser Kanye' from pomDeterrific, a mischievous bootlegger from round Aberdeen way.
From person or persons unknown comes 'Single Loser (Put A Beck On It)', which is credited to Beckyoncé and should probably be the last word on the subject.
Having miraculously managed to stay out of jail, hip hop very bad boy Chief Keef has released a new mixtape, Sorry 4 The Weight, which contains 20 filling-rattling tracks. We haven't time to go through his other rap sheet here, but in terms of walking it like he talks it, 19-year-old Keith Cozart is the real deal.

To the streams now and Father John Misty, Thurston Moore & John Moloney, Michael Feurstack, Tropics, Mumdance & Logos and Gingerpig are loitering with considerable intent at [link]3voor12.vpro.nl/luisterpaal/albums.html[/link]; a bumper [link]www.npr.org/series/98679384/first-listen[/link] crop includes Public Service Broadcasting, Kristin Diable, THEESatisfaction, Screaming Females, The Pop Group and Dan Deacon; Tall Tales & The Silver Rope, Gucci Mane, Passion Pit, Faith No More, The Grizzled Mighty, The Lowest Pair, Falling In Reverse, Modest Mouse and an archive raiding Iron & Wine have new tuneage at [link]albumstreams.com[/link] but, as ever, you have to be in the right place to listen; Dutch Uncles and Ibeyi have their latest previewing at [link]www.theguardian.com/music/series/album-streams[/link] and [link]www.nytimes.com/interactive/arts/music/pressplay.html?_r=3&[/link] has a lush offering from the Australian-born, Chicago-domiciled Via Tania who, mark FMF's words, is going to be massive.
There are no kitchen-sinks but there are colanders, buckets and frying pans deployed as American electro hipsters Until The Ribbon Breaks treat NPR listeners to a free download set.
Noise Trade go a bit frippin' crazy this week with a ton of quality new freebies - but feel free to tip!
San Franciscans Geographer offer a predominantly live eight-tracker, which reminds us in an entirely good way of Local Natives; Folk Family Revival do pretty much what you'd expect them to do with a name like that, but rather wonderfully so; Oklahoma's Cloud Factory are spot on with their citing of Jellyfish as an influence; Gabrielle Mottesi will be of interest to anyone - that's us! - who finds Ingrid Michaelson and Sarah McLachlan swoonsome, and New Zealander Kaitlin Riegel has a bit of a funky Florence + The Machine thing going on.
The world famous in Limerick - and quite a few other places! - Hermitage Green have released a mini-doc about their friendship with Florida bluegrass merchants The Uproot Hootenanny. As revealed earlier this week on hotpress.com, the chaps join Damien Dempsey and Delorentos in Ennis' Tim Smythe Park on June 26 for the opening night of the very first Inis Festival.
To the vids now and O Emperor have a great animated clip to go with their equally fab 'Switchblade' free download single.
We are also loving the new Blur single, 'Go Out', which trails their new album - didn't think you'd be reading that again, did you? - The Magic Whip.
Which brings the metaphorical curtain down on another very real Free Music Friday. Keep those links coming to @stuartclark66 and have an epic weekend!
