Life of French singer to be marked on 99th anniversary of her birth
The Hole In The Wall will play host to a special evening of celebration tonight, as the Kilkenny venue sees a tribute to the late, great Edith Piaf.
Being Edith Piaf is already sold out, and with good reason; the show will see Ciara McCollum return after a year off to lend her dulcet tones, performing songs by both Piaf and others with accompaniment from Clare McHugh.
Hot Press understands that there’s talk of bringing the show towards the capital in the New Year, and awaits the possibility with breath firmly baited; having previously caused traffic jams of people down Smock Alley, a return to Dublin is long overdue!
Meanwhile, the residents of the Marble City have plenty more to look forward to, with Johnny Keenan lining up his Rhyme and Reason show for the High Street haunt on December 27.
