Damien Rice regains top slot on Indie charts
My Favourite Faded Fantasy returns to the summit
There’s a familiar look about the top of the indie charts, as the Christmas rush sees little change among the best sellers.
Damien Rice, who last week was at No. 2, swaps places with Tommy Fleming to regain top spot. Those two lead a trio of Irish veteran acts, as Phil Coulter, High Kings and Daniel O’Donnell make up the top five.
Other long-time residents in the top ten include The Gloaming, London Grammar and Sinead O’Connor; only Catriona O’Leary’s The Wexford Carols disturbs last week’s status quo, as the festive effort re-enters the charts at No. 10.
