The Snow Patrol-owned company has taken on the former INXS man.
Grammy-nominated Northern Irish songwriter Ciaran Gribbin has found a brand new home for his music. The Castledawson man, who previously fronted INXS, has revealed that he has signed a publishing agreement with Polar Patrol Music Publishing. The deal is a worldwide one, excluding Australia and New Zealand. Polar is owned by Snow Patrol, and the band's drummer Jonny Quinn – and director/founder of Polar Patrol – has commented: "We are thrilled to have Ciaran signed to Polar as a songwriter. His skills, talent and international experience put him in an ideal place to co-write with and for a wide range of artists but equally he can competently write to brief for TV, ads and movies."
Last year Gribbin wrote with Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, releasing a five track EP in August. An album is expected this year.
