'Ghost' is in with a golden bullet this week.
British teen Ella Henderson has hit number one on the Irish Singles Chart at the first time of asking this week. Having made her name on The X Factor (she finished sixth in 2012 despite being tipped as a strong favourite), 'Ghost' is her debut single.
Getting OneRepublic hit maker Ryan Tedder in to co-write the tune has certainly paid off, as it is the biggest selling track in the country this week. The album follows this autumn.
While John Legend's 'All Of Me' is immovable at No. 2, last week's number one Sam Smith drops two spots. His 'Stay With Me' is in third.
Elsewhere, there is little movement. Ed Sheeran's 'Sing' is down a position, with tunes from Mr. Probz, Klingande, Coldplay, Calvin Harris and Pharrell all moving down a spot each.
Rounding off the Top 10 is 'Wiggle' by Jason Derulo and Snoop Dogg. It jumps up from No. 21, likely owing to Snoop's two shows in Dublin during the week.
