Donegal man fends off Sheffield scamps in close-fought contest at the top of the Indie Album Chart...
Alex Turner and the boys leaped a hugely impressive six places in this week's Irish Indie Album Chart as AM continues to capture the nation's hearts and minds some 31 weeks after its debut.
Alas, its placing at #2 on this week's chart can only mean that Nathan Carter's The Wagon Wheel Show - Live retains top spot this week, showing serious staying power six weeks after its release.
Meanwhile, Electric Picnic-bound London Grammar move up to third place with the beguiling If You Wait while Derek Ryan's The Entertainer jumps from #18 to #4 in the most impressive switch of the week. Elsewhere, The Gloaming take fifth spot and the week's highest new entry goes to Youth Mass, as Morning Run, Evening Sun debuts at #9.
