Not only is he taking over the breakfast show from April, but he is the Cork station's new Programme Controller.
Big radio news this afternoon as one of the nation's best-loved DJs makes a sensational return to his former home.
Having left the station for Today FM – where he has hosted evening and afternoon shows with great success – Keith Cunningham is coming back to Cork's RedFM.
The PPI award-winner has been appointed as Programme Controller of the station that started his career. KC will also host the breakfast show from April.
Aside from career reasons, the decision was informed by his desire to raise his young family in Cork.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge of leading the radio station forward and being back in the fold of my RedFM family," KC commented. "I loved the opportunities afforded me at Today FM but my heart has always remained on Leeside and I’m thrilled to be returning to a radio station that I’ve always been passionate about - let the madness begin!”
