The hotly-tipped London band joined Craig Fitzpatrick for a typically shambolic and really rather enjoyable interview in the Hot Press Chatroom…
The whereabouts of their infamous "hype man" Harry Violent (they hadn't seen him since Reading), Johnny Marr dedicating a song to them, and how they've been incorrectly tagged by a British music press looking for the next big Rough Trade act, were all the agenda when Palma Violets strolled on to the Hot Press Chatroom stage down Stradbally way in September.
Occasionally confusing, frequently hilarious and pretty much exactly what rock 'n' roll should be, the results were caught on camera for posterity.
The band have been causing quite a storm since arriving on the London scene less than two years ago and that's only intensified sing the release of their singalong 'Best Of Friends' and its 180 parent album arrived.
Having played a blinder in Bruxelles last year, this was their EP debut. And very memorable it was too.
