Also, Kodaline.
Our pre-Electric Picnic excitement levels have gone up another level with the news that dance music legend Giorgio Moroder is confirmed for the Hot Press Chatroom in Stradbally.
The Italian has recently taken up the noble art of deejaying following a lifetime of working with such top acts as David Bowie, Blondie, Freddie Mercury, Adam Ant, Japan, Donna Summer and Daft Punk whose Random Access Memories tribute to him has won the 73-year-old a new generation of fans.
Talking of Ms Summer, Giorgio joins the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Eric Kupper, Chromeo and Hot Chip on the Love To Love You Donna tribute album that’s due on October 19.
