The Nordic crime author is here in September...
King of the Nordic crime writers Jo Nesbo pays a September 16 visit to the Pavillion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire as part of the DLR Libraries Literature series.
General admission tickets are €10.
The creator of the Harry Hole and Doctor Proctor series of novels, the 51-year-old Norwegian has also penned such successful stand-alones as The White Hotel and The Headhunters, which in 2011 was turned into a hit movie.
His remarkable CV also includes spells as a musician, economist and a professional footballer – Nesbo played for Molde FK as a teenager but was forced to quit the professional game after rupturing his cruciate ligament.
His tenth Harry Hole book, Politi, has already sold 410,000 copies in Scandinavia with the English translation, Police, hitting the racks here shortly after his Dublin stop-off.
