Zayn debuts at top of singles chart
Former One Direction man sees 'Pillowtalk' enter at the summit
Zayn has proven that leaving both One Direction and his surname behind hasn't dented his popularity, as 'Pillowtalk' enters the Irish chart at No. 1.
Breaking the domination of Justin Bieber is no easy feat, and the Canadian has to be content with second spot for 'Love Yourself'. 'Fast Car' by Jonas Blue feat. Dakota sits at No. 3, with Bieber's 'Sorry' in fourth.
Shawn Mendes' 'Stitches' and Lukas Graham's 'Seven Years' continue to sell by the bucketload, while the Longitude-bound Major Lazer's 'Light It Up' also keeps a berth in a top ten rounded out by Adele, whose 'Hello' clings onto No. 10.
