How Guinness are adding a touch of extra glamour and cool to this year’s festival
Fans can expect something extra special from some of the artists playing Witnness this year, at a special party in the brand new Guinness Lounge. After playing sets on one of the five Witnness stages, many artists will drop their mics, guitars and drum kits and head to the Guinness Lounge to spin some tunes from the Witnness record box.
The new lounge, a first for the festival, is a floored tent with seating. Hosted by respected DJs Donal Scannell and Leagues O’Toole, it will play host to tunes from some of the world-class DJs and indie/rock/pop artists playing at the festivals – already signed up to play are everyone’s current favourites The Thrills.
Screens will show highlights from Witnness over the last four years and this will be the 4th festival. Also watch out for a special competition which will give one lucky fan the chance to win €500.
