The Dublin concert, scheduled for Saturday April 17, is part of the European leg of her first tour for 11 years and tickets go on sale next Thursday October 22 at 9am.

Houston’s European tour will see her perform in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium as well as Ireland and the UK, with other territories to be announced shortly. The release of the I Look To You album will come the day after Houston’s appearance on The X Factor.

In the twenty-five years since she recorded her history-making debut album, Whitney Houston has become an international superstar and a controversial legend. She has sold over 140 million albums worldwide and is the most awarded female artist in history, with over 400 awards fighting for space on her over-crowded mantelpiece.
