Filmed at Villagers' invite-only gig in Dublin's Workman's Club last month, this short film racked up nearly 2,000 views in its first 24 hours online and it's not hard to see why.
It's extremely rare that a video clip captures the atmosphere of a live performance so perfectly, but director Myles O'Reilly has managed to create the right mood by focussing on the remarkable effect Conor O'Brien's music has on the spectator - the spellbound audience members are as much the stars of this show as the artist himself.
Mr. O'Brien, of course, is as gracious and melancholic as ever, although I wouldn't worry about the Mercury nominee too much, he was moshing his miniature pants off at an Adebisi Shank gig just 24 hours later.
