His estranged wife is taking a civil action against her neighbours.
Following reports last week implying that legendary Belfast singer-songwriter Van Morrison was a party to a civil action case currently being heard in the High Court, the star has made it clear that he is not involved whatsoever.
Morrison's estranged wife Michelle is aiming to stop her neighbours from allegedly blocking a sea view from her Kilross House abode in Dalkey, County Dublin.
Issuing a statement exclusively to the Irish Times, one of the newspapers that had implied involvement on his part, Van Morrison says:
“I would like to put the record straight regarding comments in the media over the past few days which implied that I am living in Kilross House in Dalkey.
“I have never lived in Kilross House and have always been a resident of the UK.
“The court action these articles refer to was brought by Michelle Rocca and I have no part in it.
“As we have been legally separated since September 2013 I would appreciate if I was not included in any further references to this ongoing action.”
