Sony division's acquisition means 33 albums will be available digitally and from streaming sites from Friday
Legacy Recordings, the catalogue arm of Sony Music, have grabbed the rights to more than 50 years' worth of music by the legendary Van Morrison.
It means that 33 albums from the iconic jazz man - stretching back to recordings from 1964 - will be available digitally and on streaming platforms from this Friday.
On the same day, Legacy unleash Essential Van Morrison, a 37-track career-spanning anthology. It's the first in a series of planned releases, which includes more compilations, as well as special editions of some of his greatest albums.
Later in the year, we'll even have the chance to get our hands on his work with seminal collective Them.
