Following on from the announcement of Van Morrison's Lit Up Inside show at the Olympia on Wednesday December 10 comes the welcome news that renowned Scottish author Ian Rankin will kick off the evening by interviewing The Man himself.

Both will be joined onstage by acclaimed literary figures including Michael Longley and Eamonn Hughes in a celebration of the words and music collated in Van's new book of the same name. The second half of the show will see Van and his band perform some of his favourite songs.
