Van duets with the late Bobby Womack on 'Some Peace of Mind'
Following the release of Van's duet with Michael Bublé on 'Real, Real Gone', The Northern Irish singer has released another cut from his upcoming 35th studio album Duets: Reworking the Catalogue, this one featuring the late soul singer Bobby Womack, who died in June 2014, in one of his last studio performances.
The two go head to head on 'Some Peace of Mind', a track that originally appeared on Hymns to the Silence in 1991. The number further evidences Van's conscious effort to avoid his hits on this album, instead mining and re-imagining the lesser known gems of his massive catalogue.
