27th renewal of the summer festival will see hundreds of events taking place
The end of this month will see West Belfast and the Gaeltacht Quarter taken over by the 27th Féile festival.
The programme for the July 30 - August 9 spectacular was launched today, with the legendary UB40 (pictured above) among the major acts set to hit the Big Top in Falls Park. The Human League and Frankie Boyle are also set to delight the crowds.
Other highlights include the Carnival Parade, which winds its way through the streets before culminating with the Party In The Park, headed up this year by Hometown. There's also the hotly-anticipated Scribe at the Rock event, which sees Marian Keyes topping a list of internationally renowned literary talent. With plenty more in the shape of talks, tours, discussions and debates, it looks like being one of the greatest years in the festival's long and decorated history.
