An Irish-American singer-songwriter, who was so inspired by U2's album 'The Joshua Tree' that she decided to record her new EP in the very same desert, is planning to tour Ireland in December.
Concurrent with her Ireland-only single and EP release, Kerry Hart's coming over for an Irish tour in December (10-19).
She will also be followed by a film crew during this tour to document her return to her Irish roots.
Kerry Hart recorded her EP in The Joshua Tree desert. It features a range of strings-driven ballads and acoustic folk songs.
It's an EP that Kerry is excited to "exclusively share" with the people of Ireland prior to releasing her music globally in the spring.
Music from Kerry’s upcoming EP, 'Live at the Sky', was recently featured in the film 'And Then There Was Eve', which was the winner of the Best Fiction Film award at the 2017 LA FilmFestival.
In a departure from today’s computer-centric production trends, 'Live at the Sky' was recorded live in the Joshua Tree desert using acoustic instruments and only analog recording equipment.
Kerry is currently completing her debut studio album. Kerry’s studio work covers broad sonic territory from strings-driven ballads to folk pop songs to percussive anthems, while maintaining the emotionally riveting and joyful spirit that has come to define the music of Kerry Hart.
The LA-based singer's live show ranges from a stripped down acoustic trio to a full six-member band.
