Bono confirms the band will be scaling back for their live dates next year.
They certainly went for a maximalist approach with their recent album release – Songs Of Innocence being 'gifted' to half a billion iTunes users – but it seems U2 are planning to get a lot more intimate next year.
As expected, the Dublin quartet will be touring in 2015, but the show will not have the stadium scale of their record-breaking 360° tour.
"We're going to be touring," Bono said, speaking to Absolute Radio. "We're going to start next year. We're going try and play The O2 (London venue) and places like that, more indoors than outdoors this time, but we'll see where it takes us. It's exciting. We'll be coming your way and these songs are the songs that, I think, will play themselves.''
