Man charged with trespass at Larry Mullen's home
As U2 prepare for a five-night American TV residency…
As reported by The Irish Sun, a man has appeared in court and was subsequently charged with trespassing at the home of U2 drummer Larry Mullen.
The man, named as 31-year-old Gerard O'Neill, was also accused of possession of a golf club with intent to cause injury or intimidate. The incident is alleged to have occurred on October 19. O'Neill was arrested on the same day. He is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Wednesday November 12.
U2, meanwhile, are set to perform for five nights in a row on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as they continue their promotion of Songs of Innocence. Bono and the boys pitch up alongside The Roots from Monday November 17.
