Ty Segall has been covering T. Rex's back catalogue for the past few years now and today sees the release of Ty Rex, a compilation album of these covers.

It seems that every time it rains, Ty Segall releases another album. Now on his eighth album in seven years (and this is not including his various collaborations and one off releases), Ty Segall has turned to releasing his fascinatingly erratic covers of Marc Boland's band.
