Fire and Fury, a new book written by American journalist Michael Wolff, purports to reveal the dark (and dysfunctional) secrets of Trump's White House.
Wolff spent as long as a year inside Trump's White House, and was given access to the feuds and farces that made up the administration. An overview of the book's premise can be found here.
While his new book has still yet to be released, it has already caused quite a stir on social media, mainly due to an interview Wolff conducted with former chief strategist Steve Bannon, where Bannon called Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with Russians "treasonous".
Several other interviews and excerpts from the book apparently showcase senior staff members in a bad light, and call into question Trump's ability to effectively govern.
Now, a lawyer for President Donald Trump has sought to halt the publication of the book.

Attorney Charles J Harder instructed the book's publisher to “immediately cease and desist from any further publication, release or dissemination of the book," in a letter seen by the Washington Post. According to The Independent, he attorney says he is pursuing possible libel charges against the author.
It's unclear whether the cease and desist will lead to the withdrawal from publishing, but it's fair to say that whatever else is in there, it has the Trump administration rankled.
