Floatin' Mincers For The Thomas House This Weekend
The star-studded blues and R&B collective will be holding court this Sunday.
Following a roof-raising performance in Whelan's as part of the Blues, Roots & Brass Festival last weekend, Floatin' Mincers are gearing up for a set in another beloved city centre venue.
The outfit, which comprises Graham Hopkins (The Frames), Colm Quearney (ex Lir), his father John Quearney and guitarist Pat Farrell (both of The Business) will be delighting the Thomas House crowd with a fine selection of covers such as Tom Waits' 'Way Down In The Hole', Freddie King's 'I'm Tore Down' and 'Red House' by Jimi Hendrix.
Admission for the gig, taking place Sunday August 16, is free and the sonic treats kick off at 8pm.
