Thin Lizzy back in the studio

The boys have been tweeting while they work.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 28 Jun 2012

The boys are back in the studio! Yup, 29 years after releasing Thunder & Lightning, Thin Lizzy are in Newcastle working on demos.

“What a vibe!” tweets Ricky Warwick. “Off for a run along the Tyne and then hitting the studio for the rest of today.”

Keyboard-player Darren Wharton says that the sessions are “sounding good” and is promising to post photos of the work-in-progress soon.

“Am in the control-room listening to new Lizzy demos with Ricky and seeing Brian’s kick-drum through the glass with the ‘TL’ logo,” adds guitarist Damon Johnson who’s already referring to it as “the new Thin Lizzy album.”

Needless to say, we’ll keep you posted!
