Metal noiseoiks Therapy? have named their eleventh album.
After “lots of chopping and changing”, Therapy? have confirmed One Cure Fits All as the title of their new long plater.
Due in late April/early May, the collection has been recorded in London’s Strongroom studio with Darkness and Tokyo Dragons man Pedro Ferriera producing.
“The Strongroom is a weird one,” reflects bassist Michael McKeegan. “It’s in a very trendy area so there are plenty of Nathan Barley types about – most amusing, especially when you see a grown man on one of those tiny BMX stunt bikes! The studio has been decorated by the guy who did the Never Mind The Bollocks artwork, Jamie Reid, and is apparently based on ley lines.”
As for some of the amps on ‘11’ classics in the making, McKeegan reveals: “’Deluded Son’ is driving with a soaring melodic chorus. The guitar solo has a weird double tracked sound, so it’s pretty psychedelic! ‘Dopamine, Seratonin, Adrenaline’ is massive, kind of a cross between ‘Die Laughing’ and ‘Six Mile Water’. ‘Sprung’ is a groovy bastard, so get your dancing shoes ready for that one!”
