Over as part of Digital Biscuit later this month.
Digital Biscuit, Ireland's Film And Technology Forum, takes place in The Science Gallery, Dublin, between January 28 - 30 and the line-up has just been announced.
Among the heavy creative hitters set to talk at the third annual event are David Chase, the man behind iconic HBO series The Sopranos>, and Michel Gondry, who made a name for himself creating music videos for the likes of Björk, Radiohead and The White Stripes before going on to direct films such as Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
Chase says of the upcoming appearance: "I’m delighted to come to Ireland, a place of great storytelling tradition, and look forward to exploring the future of stories at Digital Biscuit."
Also set to speak are cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel (Amelie, Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince and film executive and Black List founder Franklin Leonard.
To kick of Digital Biscuit, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice will get a special screening in the IFI at 8pm on January 28. The Irish premiere of Is The Man Who Is Tall Happy? (an animated conversation with Noam Chomsky, directed by Gondry) will also take place in the IFI at 6.30pm on January 29.
The launch took place today, with guests including Emmy and BAFTA award-winning director Dearbhla Walsh, Mads Damsbo and Lasse Andersen.
