'Hall Of Fame' premiered this morning.
They’re not in need of outside assistance at this stage, but The Script’s new single, ‘Hall Of Fame’, finds them teaming up with will.i.am.
“We thought it might make a great duet but we wanted to do it line by line, true duet-style,” Danny O’Donoghue explains. “It took several months, a headlock and a taxi cab to get Will on the song!”
Adds bandmate Mark Sheehan: "We wanted to capture as much emotion in the track’s sound as there is in the lyrics, which are definitely some of the most positive and upbeat we’ve ever written."
Premiered this morning on Today FM, the single is due on August 31 with the parent #3 album following a week later.
Meanwhile, Tom Jones says he will sign up for a second series of The Voice but only if the aforementioned Messrs O’Donoghue and Will.i.am and Jessie J are on board.
“We’re talking about it now,” he tells The Sun. “ There are a couple of things that need to be ironed out. One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don't want to be sitting there with somebody that I don't admire or particularly like... there are a few of them! Hopefully, we will have the same four coaches.”
