Rolling Stones announce US dates for summer

The Stones keep on rolling this summer with a 15-city tour

The Stones are hitting the road again this summer for the 15-show Zip Code tour in North America. It will be their first shows since the death of longtime accompanist, saxophonist Bobby Keys.

The name of the tour seems a play on the famous cover of their 1971 LP Sticky Fingers featuring a close up of a man's crotch, which is getting a special reissue to accompany the dates. Featuring hits like 'Brown Sugar,' 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking' and 'Wild Horses,' Sticky Fingers is widely considered one of the Stones' finest works and the reissue will include alternate versions of the tunes as well as live cuts from that period.

Check out the dates and a tour teaser below!

A Bigger Bang

It’s unmistakably The Rolling Stones as we know and love them, down to the last chopped rhythm of Keith Richards’ telecaster, Charlie Watts’ snare crack and the mannered tics of Sir Mick’s white boy blues croak. Like The Ruttles’ clever pastiches of Beatles classics, the Stones appear to have perfected the art of parodying themselves to a point where you wonder if they might be having a laugh.
