The new The Flaming Lips live video is a release to promote their current world tour in support of their most recent album, Oczy Mouldy.
Strangely, the band did not select a song from Oczy Mouldy for the video. The song 'Pompeii Am Gotterdammerung' is actually a track from their 2006 release At War With The Mystics.
It does to not matter anyway. When the live show is this beautiful and trippy, The Flaming Lips can pick whatever song they want. What really makes the video are the colours, the costumes, and the incredible lights and video displays the band hauls around with them on tour. This is a video to show off the live show and it definitely achieves its aim.
