The Fat Lady Sings will play a one-off show in Dublin this April
As revealed in the last issue of Hot Press, The Fat Lady Sings are re-grouping on April 8 for a one-off show in Vicar St.
The motivation is the imminent release of The Fat Lady Singles (& Opera Obscura), a 2-CD retrospective which will include such gems as 'Fear & Favour', 'Be Still', 'Arc Light', 'Deborah' and the strangest record to ever infiltrate the Irish top 10, 'Dronning Maude Land'.
While lead singer Nick Kelly has pursued a high profile solo career at home, multi-instrumentalist Tim Bradshaw has become a full-time member of the David Gray band and bassist Dermot Lynch has tour and production managed the likes of Keane, Fun Lovin' Criminals and Supergrass.
