Blues, Roots & Brass Festival set for Whelan's and Opium Rooms
Weekender pencilled in for next month
A weekend next month will see Whelan's Upstairs venue and front bar - as well as the Opium Rooms and The Warehouse - taken over by Blues, Roots and Brass tunes, as a special festival hits the Camden Quarter.
Supported by Failte Ireland and Abner Browns, the weekender will see the likes of The Eskies (pictured), Gavin Glass and the New Shakers, and Mick Pyro heading the charge, topping a bill which also features MuteFish, Square Pegs, The Sweeneys Jazz Men, Jem Mitchell, NC LAWLER, Clara Rose, Fever Solstice, The Creators, Left Right and Centre, David King, Whitetrash, and Mick Helsin and his band.
Best of all, admission won't cost you a single cent; the August 8 & 9 knees-up is completely free.
