Having flown the flag for Madchester, Britpop and plenty else along the way, The Charlatans are still trucking along, and have announced a visit to The Academy for later this spring.
With their most recent album, Modern Nature, bringing the band their best chart performances in almost 15 years, it's good timing to check back with one of the seminal bands of the 90s UK scene.
They hit the Middle Abbey Street venue on May 1; tickets, priced at €30, are on sale tomorrow.
