A diverse new batch of artists have just been confirmed for the Bud Rising Festival, with tickets for all Dublin-wide events going on sale today.
First up, The Charlatans have been confirmed for not one but two shows in Whelan's, on July 23 (with The Things) and July 24 (with The Mighty Stef). This will be the first opportunity for Irish fans to hear new material from their just released Up At The Lake album.
And for something completely different, Ninja Tunes maestros The Herbaliser descend on The Viper Room with their delectable blend of hip hop, jazz, funk, soul and whatever-else-they-may-fancy on July 23.
Cult group The Beta Band will play the Temple Bar Music Centre on Tuesday, July 20, with Nigerian MC Ty also confirmed to play Whelans on Wednesday, July 21.
And on Sunday, July 25, Leah Wood (daughter of the Stones' Jonnie Wood) brings her aptly titled Leah Wood Group to the intimate setting of Bruxelle's, off Grafton St. They are joined by Irish support acts Fair Verona and Jesse & Layla.
