The Chameleons for Dublin
Post-punk merchants play here in November...
Manchester post-punk legends The Chameleons, who include The Verve and the Gallagher brothers among their fan club, are Dublin-bound on November 20 for a show in Whelan’s. Tickets are €20.
Championed as all the best bands were by John Peel, they released three critically acclaimed but commercial underachieving albums before getting royally pissed off with the music industry and splitting after 1986’s Strange Time.

The resurrection came in 2000 with unplugged album Strip, which was promptly followed by two more studio outings, each of them worthy of a place in your collections.
