It is the unique 'LOVE' version of the track.
A new official music video for The Beatle's 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' has been released. It has been made to mark the tenth anniversary of the Cirque de Soleil show, 'The Beatles Love', inspired by the band's music.
The show opened in 2006 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada where it still runs today. The video itself shows new dance routines and lighting effects in the show. It was directed by performance artists Leah Moyer, Dandypunk and Andre Kasten.
The music in the video is an acoustic version of the George Harrison written 1968 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' accompanied by a new string section. The arrangement for the string section was created by former Beatle's producer, Sir George Martin. Martin produced the arrangement for the special 'Love' album to coincide with the 2006 Cirque de Soleil show. It was one of the final projects Martin completed before his death in 2006.
